1970 Cuda with a Supercharged Hellcat V8

House of Mouse Racing (HMR) has built several Hellcat-powered vehicles. We previously shared their Hellcat-powered Impala in 2023 and Hellcat-powered Coronet in 2020. Today we discuss their amazing 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda.

Under the carbon fiber hood sits a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 making 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a Gearstar 4L85E four-speed automatic transmission using a CompuShift TCU. A carbon fiber driveshaft transmits torque to custom Moser rear end with a Truetrac limited-slip differential and 35-spline axles.

House of Mouse Racing upgraded the handling using Reilly MotorSports AlterKtion front suspension and Street-Lynx trangulated 4-link rear suspension. They also installed a USCT Motorsports weld-in chassis stiffening kit. The brake system consists of Wilwood six-piston calipers with 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors and an E-Stop electric emergency brake system.

The ‘Cuda body has an Elastomeric front bumper and SpeedKore carbon fiber hood and rear bumper. Everything is covered in PPG three-stage paint with a custom one-piece vinyl top. The front features an AAR grille and headlight bezel assembly while the rear has modified tinted taillights. The finishing touch is a set of Forgeline 3-piece wheels with Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 255/40 front tries and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 31×18-inch rear tires.

The interior features seats from a 2021 Challenger SRT Hellcat surrounded by a custom headliner, custom carpet, custom door panels, and custom lighting. A Billet Specialties steering wheel mounts on a custom Ididit steering column. There is also Dakota Digital gauges and a Vintage Air AC system. You can view more photos of the build and full specs at the project page.
